Premium Chokonose Figure is SEGA's answer to a problem every collector knows, which is shelf space. Chokonose means to perch or set something down lightly, and that is the whole design: each figure sits in a relaxed pose with no base, made to rest on the edge of a desk, a monitor, or a shelf with its legs hanging over the side.

It launched in April 2019 with Detective Conan, and that franchise has stayed a steady anchor across the run, Conan, Kaito Kid, Amuro and Akai all getting perching figures. From there the roster widened the way SEGA's prize lines tend to, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, Tokyo Revengers, Re:Zero, Chainsaw Man and Cells at Work among the dozens of properties that have cycled through.

The poses are the through-line. Where a standard prize figure stands on a base, a Chokonose figure is built to sit, kneel or dangle, its silhouette designed around the edge it will rest on rather than a stand. The figures run small, around fourteen centimeters, part of how the line fits a crowded desk.

These are non-scale prize figures from SEGA's crane-game channel, now run through its Sega Fave prize arm, and the line stays prolific, new perching figures from current anime arriving on a near-monthly cadence.
