Your deposit becomes available after you accept the quote and Japan Finds confirms the order has been placed.

1. Sign in to the same Japan Finds account you used for your request.
2. Open your profile Overview. Find your requested item on your personal counter.
3. Choose Pay deposit. Check the item and amount, then choose Card or PayPal and complete the payment.
4. Return to your item and check that the deposit shows as paid. Keep the payment confirmation for your records.

We will keep you updated while your item is on the way. Once it has arrived and passed inspection, the remaining payment will become available.

If the deposit is not available yet, open the request to check whether your quote still needs acceptance or your order is awaiting confirmation.

An arrival update means your item has been checked and is ready for the next payment step.

1. Open your profile Overview and select the item on your personal counter.
2. Review the price, deposit already paid and remaining balance.
3. Choose to pay the balance now or select the payment plan offered for that item. Review every amount and date before confirming.
4. Complete payment using the available payment options. When the item is fully paid, find it in your Warehouse.

Your Warehouse is your collection of purchased items waiting for shipping. Receiving an item at Japan Finds and placing a paid item in your Warehouse are separate steps.

Older custom orders may follow an earlier agreement. The amount and options shown on your own item are the ones to review with the team.

Your plan keeps the item, payments and remaining balance together so you can see where you stand.

1. Open the layaway item on your personal counter.
2. Before starting a new plan, review the required first payment, future dates and cancellation terms. A plan starts only after its first payment is confirmed.
3. For an existing plan, review the payment history and the next amount due.
4. Use the available payment action to make a payment or pay off the remaining balance early. Check the updated balance after payment.

Once the balance reaches zero, the item moves to your Warehouse, where you can choose when to ship it.

An overdue payment prevents starting another layaway until you catch up. Contact the team if you need help with an existing plan. Review your accepted terms for late-payment and cancellation rules.

Your paid items can stay in your Warehouse until you are ready to ship them.

1. Open your Warehouse and review the items stored there.
2. Leave items stored if you are not ready to ship. They do not need a new purchase.
3. For website shipping, select the eligible items you want to send together and review the $10 domestic flat-rate shipping charge and delivery address.
4. To combine with Whatnot, ask the team to check your box. Combining depends on both available space and shipping coverage. If it does not fit or needs more coverage, you can keep it stored for a suitable box or arrange additional shipping.

Check your account for shipment updates. Your shipped item is added to your collection through the fulfillment process.

A fully paid item in your Warehouse has not necessarily shipped. Warehouse, shipped and delivered are different statuses.

Check the saved payment status before trying again, especially if your bank or payment provider already shows a charge.

1. Return to your profile Overview and reopen the item to check its payment status and balance.
2. Check your email inbox and spam folder for the receipt. A missing email alone does not mean a payment failed.
3. If the payment is shown as paid, do not pay it again. If it is pending or you are unsure whether you were charged, ask the team to check it.
4. Open Messages and choose Japan Finds Team. Include the item name, approximate payment time and whether you used Card, PayPal or store credit.

The team can check the payment record and help you take the correct next step.

Never send passwords, full card numbers or security codes. You do not need to make a second payment to report a problem.
