Welcome to Japan Finds. These terms govern your use of japanfindsdirect.com (the "Site"), operated by Japan Finds Direct ("we," "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.

1. Your account

You need an account for most Site features. Keep your login credentials to yourself — you're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or behavior that harms other collectors or the Site. The Site is not directed at children under 13.

Japan Finds is built as a collector community. When you create an account, your Public Showcase and community-safe sharing features start turned on. New figures, collection targets, media entries, lists, notes, handles, and eligible progress displays are shared by default when their form includes a sharing choice. You can turn sharing off while adding something or change it later in that feature or in Settings. Shipping addresses, payment information, sign-in details, private messages, support records, order records, and internal fulfillment data are never made public by these defaults.

2. Purchases

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment is collected at checkout by our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) — we never see or store your card number. Minnesota sales tax is collected on orders delivered to Minnesota. Inventory is mostly one-of-a-kind collectibles; in the rare case an item you ordered is unavailable, we'll make it right with a refund or credit.

3. Store credit

Store credit lives on your Japan Finds account balance and can be spent on anything in the store. Store credit has no cash value, is not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Refunds are issued as store credit per our Refunds & Returns policy.

4. Quest Center games

Paid Quest Center games are structured as a gamified figure purchase. You choose what you are playing toward before the game. Each game card has a fixed price, and every completed game returns at least that price in figure-claim or ticket value. There is no paid outcome where you receive nothing.

• Tickets are always tied to a physical figure goal on your account. They apply toward that goal, can be re-targeted to a different goal before you claim, and cap at the goal's requirement.
• Tickets, game cards, and game rewards have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Claimed figures are physical items: they go to your virtual warehouse and ship like any order.
• Paid Quest Center play is for account holders aged 18 or older.

5. XP, reward points, and titles

Activity on the Site can earn XP, reward points, tier titles, and similar recognition. These are loyalty features: they have no cash value, are not transferable, and we may adjust how they're earned or what they unlock as the program evolves.

6. The virtual warehouse

Items you claim or receive as gifts are held physically by us and shown in your virtual warehouse until you ship them. Warehouse storage is free. Items in your warehouse are yours; we just hold and ship them at your request.

7. Gifting

You can buy items as gifts for other account holders. Gifts are delivered to the recipient's virtual warehouse, and they choose when and where to ship. Gift purchases follow the same refund policy as regular purchases.

8. Your content

Collection shelves, notes, photos, messages, and anything else you post must be yours to post and must not be unlawful, infringing, or abusive. You keep ownership of your content; you give us permission to display community-facing content on the Site as part of the features you use. Community-facing sharing starts on, and you can opt out for an item, section, or your whole Public Showcase wherever those controls are provided. Direct messages and sensitive account or transaction records are not community-facing content. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

9. Our content

The Site, its design, and its original content belong to Japan Finds Direct. Product names, character names, and franchise imagery belong to their respective rights holders and are used to describe genuine licensed merchandise.

10. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order or feature giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law doesn't allow us to limit.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA.
