Yamato was, for years, the name in Macross valkyries. Its transforming VF figures, the 1/60 line chief among them, were the gold standard for converting fighter-to-Battloid mecha before the studio closed, and they remain prized on the secondary market. Yamato's work directly shaped Western Macross collecting through its collaboration with Toynami.
