About this figure family
Taito's prize-figure series built on collaborations with named illustrators, where the selling point is the artist behind the pose. It launched in 2021 with a Hatsune Miku birthday figure and leans heavily on Miku and the Piapro cast, many sold as Taito Online Crane exclusives.
Artist MasterPiece, usually shortened to AMP, is Taito's prize line with a specific hook: each figure is built around a collaboration with a well-known illustrator, so the draw is as much the artist's reading of a character as the character. Taito states that artist cooperation as the line's selling point outright.
It opened in August 2021 with a Hatsune Miku for her birthday, the Happy Cat version, and Miku and the wider Piapro cast have stayed the center of the line through Latidos, Mermaid, Princess Arabian and Alice takes. Re:Zero's Rem turns up too, in a Winter Maid look. Many releases double as Taito Online Crane exclusives, the prize-channel variant sold through Taito's own crane service alongside the general arcade version.
The line later grew a larger companion tier, Artist MasterPiece+, which carries the same artist-collaboration idea into bigger, more elaborate figures and a wider anime roster. AMP itself stays the more compact, Miku-forward end of that pairing.
These are non-scale prize figures from Taito's crane-game channel rather than scale releases, and the format is still active, the artist-collaboration premise continuing to draw new Miku and anime entries.
