About this figure family
Taito's summer prize line: anime girls in swimsuits, each one seated in her own translucent swim ring that displays separately from the figure. It started in 2022 with a Re:Zero Rem and works the same pool-party theme across a wide cast, from the Quintuplets to Hatsune Miku.
Aqua Float Girls is Taito's pool-side prize line, built around a single neat idea: a character in a swimsuit, seated in a clear swim ring, with the figure and the ring made to come apart so each can be displayed on its own. It opened in August 2022 with a Re:Zero Rem and has kept the summer theme going ever since, the translucent float and the bright swimwear giving the whole line a consistent beachy look on a shelf.
Like Taito's other prize lines it runs on twins and reissues: nearly every figure ships as both a standard arcade prize and a Taito Online Crane exclusive, and the strongest sellers come back as 'Renewal' versions down the line. The roster leans on the seasonal-fanservice favorites a swimsuit line invites, Re:Zero's Rem and Echidna, Overlord's Albedo, the full set of Quintessential Quintuplets sisters, the Saekano heroines, Wandering Witch's Elaina, with the occasional left-field pick like Steins;Gate's Kurisu or Made in Abyss's Nanachi.
It sits alongside Desktop Cute as one of Taito's signature prize formats, the two of them splitting the same characters between a year-round desk figure and a summer one. Aqua Float Girls is the seasonal half, and it leans into that, a steady parade of swim-ring summer that turns up in the crane games whether or not it is actually July.
