ShoPro, formally Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions, is the licensing and production arm jointly run by two of Japan's largest publishers, Shogakukan and Shueisha. It handles anime production and the merchandising of the groups' enormous catalogue of manga properties, sitting upstream of the figures rather than making them.
