Carbotix comes from Medicom Toy, the Tokyo company that has shaped collectible culture since 1996, the house behind the Be@rbrick, the Kubrick, MAFEX, and the Real Action Heroes. Carbotix is its die-cast mecha line, robots built around a metal skeleton that gives them the heft and durability the format prizes, among them an Astroganger rendered in a Living Metal version that leans into the feel of metal in the hand.
