Best known internationally as the manufacturer of BE@RBRICK (Be@rbrick) — the standardized bear-shaped collectible-figure platform launched on May 27, 2001 as a gift for attendees of the World Character Convention 12 in Tokyo. Operates Kubrick (the Lego-style block-figure predecessor to BE@RBRICK), MAFEX (Miracle Action Figure EX, 1/12 articulated), Real Action Heroes (RAH, 1/6 articulated), Carbotix (diecast-and-articulation hybrids), and a long-running cross-brand designer-collaboration program.
