King Records is the oldest surviving record company in Japan, founded in January 1931 as a division of the publisher Kodansha. Its anime arm, once the Starchild label and since 2016 renamed King Amusement Creative under producer Toshimichi Otsuki, has scored and released a long line of anime, and the figures tied to those productions come through here.
