Sylvanian Families is Epoch's flagship, a world of flocked animal families and the dollhouses, furniture, and shops they live in, launched in 1985 and sold in much of the world as Calico Critters. The soft-textured animal figures, rabbits, bears, cats, each part of a named family, anchor a vast play system of buildings and accessories that has reached dozens of countries.
