Grandista is Banpresto's answer to the question of how big a prize figure can get before it stops being a prize. The line's stated aim is overwhelming size and sculpting density taken to the extreme, and the statues bear that out, large and heavy with detail, the kind of piece that anchors a shelf. It opened in July 2017 with a Super Saiyan Goku and has run as the maker's flagship large-format statue line since.

Rather than one flat roster, Grandista organizes itself by franchise. Dragon Ball gets Resolution of Soldiers, Naruto gets Shinobi Relations, and One Piece splits into The Grandline Men and The Grandline Lady. A Manga Dimensions treatment recolors pieces in flat, ink-line comic tones, and the Grandista Nero branch leans on darker, matte presentation. JoJo, My Hero Academia, Captain Tsubasa, Tokyo Ghoul and Fist of the North Star have all taken their turn.

The sculpting is the selling point, and the line knows it, returning to its biggest draws, Goku, Luffy, Naruto, again and again in new poses and finishes. When Banpresto's prize business folded into Bandai Spirits in 2018 the line carried on without a break, the boxes changing branding while the statues kept getting larger.

These are non-scale prize figures, won from crane games rather than ordered as scale releases, which is part of what makes a statue this size notable on the prize circuit. The line is still active, more than two hundred releases deep, with new One Piece, Naruto and Fist of the North Star pieces scheduled into 2026.
