About this figure family
Banpresto's fuzzy-textured figure line, finishing characters in a soft, fibrous surface meant to be touched. It launched in 2018 and leans heavily on Disney, with Stitch, Winnie the Pooh and the Toy Story cast among its mainstays.
Fluffy Puffy takes the prize figure somewhere unusual, the sense of touch. The line recreates a character's fuzzy, fluffy quality in a fine fibrous surface, so the appeal is as much how a piece feels in the hand as how it looks. It opened in 2018 and has lived mostly in the Disney catalogue, running as Disney Characters Fluffy Puffy across Winnie the Pooh, Chip and Dale, the Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, Toy Story and Alice in Wonderland. A Cutte! sub-run and a larger-size branch sit alongside the standard figures.
These are small non-scale prize figures from the crane-game channel, and the line has run prolifically, well past two hundred releases, the soft-touch finish keeping it distinct from everything else on the prize shelf.
