The initials stand for Define x Figure, and the brief matches: a simple, mid-size standing figure that defines a character through pose and expression rather than elaborate gimmicks, the kind pulled from a crane game. It grew out of Banpresto's earlier DX Figure line and kept the same job, serving as the default, no-fuss figure of a character.

One Piece is where it matters most. There the line runs as THE GRANDLINE series, the standard One Piece figure, split into a GRANDLINE MEN side for the male cast and a GRANDLINE LADY side for the women, and Banpresto keeps it stocked with SPECIAL and EXTRA tiers for higher-demand characters and new arcs.
