About this figure

This is Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, from Banpresto's Battle Record Collection. The Battle Record line does action poses on integrated bases, and Luffy gets a full forward lunge, coat flaring, mid-attack. Where most prize lines pose characters for a portrait, this one poses them for a fight. The figure released in October 2024 in a Battle Record run that also covered Zoro, Boa Hancock, and Shanks. A full battle shelf can be assembled piece by piece. He stands about six inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale. Action figures at this size depend on silhouette, and the lunge gives him one you can read across a room. He pairs naturally with the Zoro from the same line, attacking in the same direction.
