About this figure

This is Rem from Re:Zero, the Clear Dress version from Taito's Precious figure line. Rem wears a blue dress layered with translucent clear-plastic panels, the sculpt trick the version is named for, light passing through the skirt's outer layer. It released in July 2021, in the Precious line's big Re:Zero years. She stands about nine inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale. The clear layering was an experiment few prize lines repeated, which leaves this figure looking unlike anything else in her catalog. Under direct light the dress does its trick, and the trick still lands four years on.
