About this figure

This is Boa Hancock from One Piece, volume three of the DXF Grandline Lady series from Banpresto. The Pirate Empress wears a purple china-style dress with her serpent motifs, in a release that dates to November 2013. The Grandline Lady line was the era's showcase for the series' women, and Hancock was its inevitable headliner. More than a decade on, early DXF figures like this have become time capsules of how the characters were drawn then. She stands about six and a half inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale. Older One Piece prizes are getting harder to find intact, and Hancock figures from this era move fast when they surface. She displays comfortably beside her modern figures, one design generation apart. Figure height: approximately 6.9 inches.
