About this figure

This is Rem from Re:Zero, the Original Salopette Swimsuit special version from Taito's Precious figure line. A salopette is an overall, and the design layers denim overall shorts over her swimsuit. It turns a beach figure into something you could actually walk to the beach in. The casual layering aged better than most pure swimsuit designs of the same era. The figure released in December 2019 as a special edition in the early Precious wave. She stands about nine inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale. The overalls are what people remember about this one, and they remain unusual in her catalog years later. As early Rems go she is both findable and distinctive, which is a rare combination.
