About this figure

This is Lum from Urusei Yatsura, in Banpresto's Relax Time figure line. The alien princess in the tiger-stripe bikini sits in the line's break pose, green hair falling past her shoulders, electricity presumably off for the moment. Lum invented half the tropes anime runs on, and the 2022 remake brought a whole new wave of figures like this one. The figure released in August 2024. She is about five inches seated, PVC and ABS, non-scale. Relax Time figures live on desk edges, and a seated Lum is an easy fit anywhere. She reads instantly to anyone who knows anime history, and the tiger stripes do the introductions for everyone else.
