About this figure

This is Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid, the Christmas 2023 edition from SEGA's Luminasta line. She twirls in a red and white Santa dress trimmed with holly, mid-spin with one leg kicked up. The pose is the whole figure: most holiday Mikus stand and smile, and this one dances. SEGA has issued a Christmas Miku for years, making them annual collectibles in the same spirit as the birthday figures. The 2023 edition leans classic, full Santa colors with green accents and nothing ironic about it. She stands about eight inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale, released in November 2023. She earns her shelf spot every December and holds it year-round if you let her, since the spin pose reads as performance rather than strictly holiday. Either way, she is the cheerful one in the cabinet.
