About this figure

This is Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, the Gear 5 Special from the World Collectable Figure line. WCF figures are normally pocket-sized, but the Special format mounts the chibi Gear 5 on a swirl of sculpted clouds with clear effect parts. It turns a mini figure into a small diorama. The white form mid-grin on a thunderhead is the anime's most famous recent image, shrunk to desk size. The figure released in September 2024 as part of the anime's twenty-fifth anniversary wave. It stands about four and a half inches tall with the cloud base, PVC and ABS. The effect parts do the heavy lifting, and no other figure this small carries the scene this completely. It fits anywhere, which is the WCF promise.
