About this figure

This is Ran from Urusei Yatsura, volume one of Banpresto's Lum and Bestie Collection in the Glitter and Glamours line. Ran is Lum's childhood friend and lifelong grudge-holder, sweet-faced and quietly furious, here at showcase scale in her ruffled pink styling. The Bestie Collection spun the line outward from Lum into her orbit of frenemies. The figure released in June 2024. She stands about nine inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale. Ran figures are far scarcer than Lum's, and this is the definitive modern one. She displays beside any Lum with the exact energy of their relationship: smiling, adjacent, and keeping score. The ruffled styling gives her a softer silhouette than her rival, which she would call the point.
