This is Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, in Gear 5, from Banpresto's Grandista line. Gear 5 is the awakening of his fruit's true nature as the legendary Nika form. His hair and clothes turn white, his eyes go ring-bright, and the fights start obeying cartoon logic instead of physics. This figure catches that energy in the Grandista format, Banpresto's large showcase class with bold sculpt lines. The white-on-white design lives or dies on shading, and the Grandista treatment gives the folds and the grin the depth flat photos miss. He stands just under ten inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale, released in February 2025. Gear 5 figures arrived in a flood after the anime reveal. This is one of the biggest standard-prize versions of the form you can put on a shelf.
