About this figure

This is Albedo from Overlord, from Taito's Aqua Float Girls line. She reclines inside a clear purple inflatable ring in a white and aqua patterned bikini with gold accents, one hand drifting up near her face. The line's whole idea is figures relaxing in pool floats, and this Albedo was one of its early crane-exclusive releases, arriving in December 2022 through Taito's machines. The float is the gimmick and the charm. The clear plastic ring reads convincingly as an inflatable, and the lounging pose only makes sense inside it, so the two parts sell each other. The figure is about four inches tall and wider than it is tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale. A renewed edition followed in 2024 with a gold float and a warmer palette. This original keeps the cooler colors, and it sits happily on a flat surface with no stand needed.
