About this figure

This is Rem from Re:Zero, the Marine Look version from Taito's Precious figure line. She wears a white and blue sailor-styled swimsuit, the nautical take on her long catalog of summer figures, released in June 2020. The sailor collar does more work than a plain suit would, tying the beach outfit back to something uniform-like, which suits a character who lives in one. This was part of the early Precious wave of original-costume Rems, most of which have grown scarce since. She stands about nine inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale. Precious figures bring real size to simple designs, and the crisp white-blue palette here is about as clean as summer figures get. She reads fresh even surrounded by newer releases.
