About this figure

This is Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid, volume one of Banpresto's World Journey series. The series tours Miku through world cultures with original costume designs, and the first stop is American retro. She wears a coral fifties dress with a teal petticoat, headband and gloves, like a diner jukebox come to life. Her teal hair against the coral is a color pairing none of her other figures use. The figure released in November 2023 to open the series, with the costume and theme designed in-house at Banpresto. She stands about seven inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale, with a themed stand. World Journey figures are conversation pieces, since each is a what-if Miku rather than a known outfit. The fifties silhouette makes this one a natural pick for anyone who likes their figures with a little Americana.
