About this figure

This is Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid, the Flower version of Taito's AMP+ Birthday 2024 figure. Miku's birthday is August 31, the day her voice software launched in 2007, and Taito marks it each year with a dedicated birthday figure. The 2024 edition dresses her in a flowing white gown threaded with lavender and flowers, holding a bouquet, with her hair drifting upward as if underwater. This Flower version was a taikure exclusive, available only through Taito's online crane machines, making it the limited celebration piece of that year. She stands about eight inches tall, PVC and ABS, non-scale, released in October 2024. Birthday figures are the closest thing Miku merchandise has to anniversary editions, and they age well as collection markers. This one reads elegant rather than idol, which suits a seventeenth birthday.
