Revoltech is Kaiyodo's articulation system as much as it is a figure line. The name shortens Revolver Technology, after the Revolver Joint at its core: a three-piece ball-and-pin joint that clicks body parts together and lets a figure swing through a wide arc of motion and then actually hold the pose. Kaiyodo has aimed it at four broad worlds over the years, real robots, super robots, humanoid characters, and creatures, pulling subjects from anime, games, tokusatsu, and film. Its best-known branch is the Amazing Yamaguchi series, hyper-articulated takes on Marvel and DC heroes.
