About this figure family
Claynel is what Revolve became: a 2010 figure studio that Aniplex invested in, renamed in 2023, now inside the Sony Music Group making Hololive and anime figures.
Claynel is what Revolve became. The studio began as REVOLVE Co., Ltd. in 2010, drew an investment from Aniplex in 2017 that made the anime giant its largest shareholder, and in April 2023 took the new name Claynel, now sitting inside the Sony Music Group with Aniplex as its sole owner. Through both names the work stayed consistent, scale and non-scale figures praised for sculpt quality and expressive design, with Hololive talents like Amane Kanata among the pieces collectors point to. The rename marked a deeper fold into Sony's anime-merchandise machine rather than a change in what the studio makes.
