BearPanda, known in China as Xiongxiong-she, made its name on aesthetics. The studio works closely with illustrators and sculptors to chase the exact feeling of a character, and its scale figures, spanning original designs and licensed anime and game heroines, earned it a quick reputation among collectors for presentation that punches above a young maker's years. Where many newer Chinese studios compete on raw scale, BearPanda leaned into art direction, the look of the finished piece carrying the brand.
